O Canada! The Golden Age of Canadian Pop, May 25, 2017, 8.00pm

Debbie has been invited to join the original cast of the Toronto production of Hair, as an understudy, and “harmony hog”.    The Hair Tribe will be appearing at this concert, backed by vocal “band” Retrocity – singing songs from the musical – Aquarius, Hair, Good Morning Starshine, Let the Sunshine in.  Debbie is thrilled to fulfill an unrealized dream of performing with this tribe.  She auditioned for Hair in the 60s and was accepted into the Hair workshops, where actors and singers were being trained to take the place of people dropping out of the show.  Before she had a chance to realize her goal of being a Hair Tribe member, she had to drop out for family reasons.

Also performing in this show will be Lorraine Segato, and Elaine Overholt – who will be receiving a Sing! Legacy Award, in honour of her massive contribution to vocalists in Toronto, and Hollywood.
